We stayed at a guest house in Thamel and had an amazing experience. the staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location was superb. We had a room facing the inner courtyard, which provided a wonderfully quiet atmosphere. We also enjoyed the complimentary airport pick up and the fact that the hotel was located within walking distance of Freek Street. the Markham Bistro below the hotel served delicious food and coffee, and it was a bonus that it was halal. we had a fantastic stay and would definitely choose this guest house again when in town.

No negatives from this place. 😊

I recently stayed at Potala Guest House for a few nights for business purposes. The deluxe rooms were great and the semi-deluxe rooms were also fine, just a bit more basic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when I lost my mobile in a taxi. The hot shower was a refreshing surprise, as the water heated up within seconds. The breakfast served in the restaurant was sufficient, and I highly recommend trying their delicious cappuccino. The location was also ideal, making it easy to explore the city center.

I do recommend this hotel.
