The staff were great and very helpful with recommendations and nothing was too much trouble for them. Special thanks to Glenn for the hot chocolate! The hotel is in a great location, only two streets away from the buzz of the city. It is a perfect base to explore Amsterdam, as you can walk to everything. The hotel has a lovely character building, which reminded me of teeny tiny hotel rooms in NYC/Manhattan. Given the location and age of the property , it had a certain charm. The basic amenities were provided and the rooms were clean, albeit a bit shabby. The fact that we were on the same floor as the lobby made it easy to access the hotel facilities.

The wifi connection in the room was temperamental, but opening the room door helped re-establish the connection.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, going out of their way to provide us with excellent service. The location was perfect, as it was close to everything we wanted to see and do in the city. The hotel facilities were modern and clean, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The breakfast offered was delicious and affordable, making us feel right at home. The hotel's proximity to a Dutch "coffee shop" called Amnesia added an interesting and unique touch to the ambiance of the location.

The location of my room was amazing, with a beautiful view of the canal. However, I was a bit disappointed to find that the room was smaller than expected. Despite that, the bed was really comfortable and made for a great night's sleep. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel.
