I absolutely adored the charming and cozy atmosphere at this delightful hostal. The decoration was tastefully done, with beautiful artwork and lovely furniture that reminded me of my grandmother's house. The common areas were easily accessible for senior people, with wide hallways and comfortable seating areas where I could relax and chat with other guests.

I would have loved it if the children of the staff were a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests. It would have been wonderful if they offered a specialized service or assistance for us during our stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was big and comfortable with AC, which was a relief given the weather. The hotel provided free parking in a secure car park, and there was even a lovely beer garden to enjoy. The breakfast was excellent and it was a treat to have it outside in the sunny weather. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the train station.

I recently stayed at Hostal Casa Abierta for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, just a couple of minutes away from the cathedral and numerous restaurants. The pool was a great feature, especially in the hot weather, and it was clean and refreshing. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bathroom was very nice. I loved that we could sit in front of our room and enjoy the surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the vegetarian food at the restaurant was delicious. I would highly recommend the Vulcano Day trips offered by the hotel for a unique experience in Leon.

our second stay in leon exceeded all expectations. the ecohostal's delicious food, refreshing smoothies, and commitment to sustainability impressed us. the pool was a heavenly spot to relax, with comfortable sun loungers and a tranquil ambiance. the friendly and helpful staff made our anniversary celebration even more special.

Just stayed at a hostel in Leon and had a great experience at Hostal Casa Abierta! The location was really convenient, just two blocks from the cathedral/main square. While the outside may not be appealing, once you walk through the long corridor to reception, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The hostel has a super tranquil and relaxing vibe, with a beautiful pool in the back. The private room we stayed in was fresh, innovative, and very clean. The staff was also incredibly friendly, and we even found great vegan food options.

Can't fault the property in any way. 👍

Hostal Casa Abierta provided comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms with spacious layouts and nice finishing touches. the beds were especially cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. the food at the hostel was absolutely amazing, with the healthiest homemade bread I've ever tasted in Nicaragua. the peaceful atmosphere and a lovely pool were perfect for relaxation, and my kids absolutely loved spending time there. the location of the hostel was also very convenient, allowing us to explore the city on foot.

Additionally, the hotel facilities, especially the pool area, were well-maintained and provided a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.
