Great location close to a famous beach and at fair prices. Perfect for low-budget travelers, especially surfers. Awesome vibe and friendly people. Staying for 8 weeks instead of the planned one night speaks for itself. Contacting the family directly for reservations is recommended. the small size and family atmosphere made it feel like home. Enjoyed cooking together in the communal kitchen and bonding with other guests.

The uphill walk to reach the hotel was a bit challenging, but it's manageable. Not easy to find the owners for check-in, and there was a mix-up with reservations.

The value for money at Clandestino Maderas was excellent. The room I stayed in, the private cabin, was beautifully done and very peaceful. The location, hidden high up in the forest, was amazing and the staff made me feel so welcome.

Food for breakfast could be better, maybe more variety.

The B&B is really close to the city center, right next to the old town. It's also very close to the sea and a nice beach. The cleanliness of the room was excellent, and the hotel facilities, including a common sitting area with a fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I stayed at this awesome hostel in the forest for 2 weeks and could have stayed even longer if I had the time. The owners and their kids were really nice, making me feel welcome. The beds in the dorm were comfortable and the well-equipped kitchen was perfect. The layout of the huts built into the hill was impressive, and I loved the open kitchen overlooking the jungle. The yoga deck was amazing, offering a view of monkeys playing in the trees. a well-maintained and clean place with plenty of space to relax and socialize with other travelers.

I had an amazing time at the hostel! The location, nestled among the trees, was perfect. The beds in the dorms were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The hostel was well-maintained and clean. I always found a quiet place to relax or hang out with other travelers. The staff was super nice and friendly, always willing to help. Luna, the dog, was the best companion for watching sunsets at the beach. I hope to return someday.

This hostel is absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach with great surfing waves. The dorm room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with lockers for added security. The outdoor kitchen and bathrooms were a unique touch, giving a true jungle experience. The friendly staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, even organizing pizza nights and offering free coffee and water.

That there was only one fridge, which made it a bit inconvenient when the hostel was full and I needed to store my food.

The hostel was amazing, one of the best I've ever stayed at. The houses were comfortable and surrounded by nature. The kitchen was fully furnished and the beach was great for surfing. The staff was kind and friendly, and Luna the hostel dog was a bonus.

Lack of privacy in the private room as it was surrounded by dorms with thin walls. the common area was cluttered and used for storage, making it less inviting.
