This hotel is an absolute gem! The stunning location on the water offers breathtaking views of the mountains and a small fjord. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, with attention to detail such as dark curtains to offset the midnight sun. The staff is incredibly welcoming and ensures that every guest feels at home. The breakfast included is fresh and delicious, with a unique twist that sets it apart from typical buffets.

Located down from the pier in the fjord, Nyvågar Rorbuhotell offers a serene and picturesque setting. The lagoon behind the hotel adds to the charm, along with the small harbor for mid-size boats. This beautiful area is near many attractions, allowing for easy exploration. The rooms are delightful, embodying the rustic Rorbu feeling with a touch of modern inventory. The attentive staff goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service, and the breakfast basket is a treat to start the day.

The wifi can be a bit slow at times.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nyvagar Rorbuhotell - By Classic Norway Hotels! The Rorbus were charming and cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen. The sea/mountain view was breathtaking, especially when we witnessed the aurora dancing above the sea. The breakfast served on a boat was a delightful touch. The beds were comfortable and the heating system kept us warm. we had a lovely experience and highly recommend this hotel.

The location was great, close to the museum and art gallery. Nice view from the cottages. the walk to Kabelvaag, a small town nearby, was enjoyable and there were some cute shops.

Our Thanksgiving experience was dampened by the lackluster breakfast options. the cabins were older and could have been cleaner.

Cozy and warm house with new, clean bathroom and well-stuffed kitchen. Amazing views that take your breath away. Spacious and comfortable beds with dreamy pillows and comforters. Incredible spot for enjoying pre-dinner drinks and taking in the sights. The staff went above and beyond, providing a free aurora borealis experience.
