We had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in a stunning location. The surrounding mountains and water created a beautiful setting that left us in awe. The hot breakfast provided was delicious and the hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the town. The fact that there was free parking on site was an added bonus. The hotel restaurant had a great dinner menu and the food tasted amazing. The gentleman who checked us in and the lady who checked us out were friendly and chatty, making us feel welcome. we highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful setting, delicious food and friendly staff.

While our room was clean and functional, it was a bit small and outdated. The bathroom had a flood after we took a shower, which was inconvenient.

The hotel's location was great, with beautiful scenic views. It was in close proximity to the water, making it a nice spot for activities like canoeing and water bicycling. the hot breakfast was also a plus, and we enjoyed it very much. free parking on-site was convenient for us as we were on a road trip.

While the hotel had great surroundings, we felt that the price was a bit steep for some basic amenities that it offered. the room we stayed in was small and outdated, with a very basic setup.

We had a wonderful stay at Solvgarden. The friendly staff, fluent in Norwegian, were incredibly helpful with car charging and recommendations. The hotel itself had the charming atmosphere of a Norwegian farm mansion, with the convenience of an airport business hotel. The setting, surrounded by mountains and water, was simply beautiful. The kids loved the unique "bed in a wall" and the outdoor playground.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
