We had a great time at Le Chalet Suisse Motel. Our stay was for 3 nights, and the location was excellent, within walking distance of the CBD and lakefront. The unit itself was lovely, with a decent size and equipped with cooking facilities. We were pleasantly surprised to find clean towels and extra milk on our second day. The view from both floors was beautiful, overlooking the lake and mountains. The staff, especially the older gentleman at the front desk, were incredibly helpful, providing us with excellent local recommendations.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the town; walking distance to eateries and the lake. My room was spacious with a king size bed and a spa bath. I enjoyed relaxing in the heated spa pool after a long day of sightseeing. I recommend this hotel.

Loved the prime lakefront location, separate bedrooms for the girls, and the spa in the room. Also, the friendly and accommodating staff went above and beyond by doing our laundry. Free parking and walking distance to town were major bonuses. Economically cheaper than other units but provided great value.

I recently stayed at Le Chalet Suisse Motel for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, just around the corner from everything. The kitchen in my spacious unit was great, and I loved the spa bath upstairs. The staff were excellent, always going above and beyond to help. They even did our laundry for us at a very reasonable price and delivered it back in just two hours. a wonderful stay!

The motel is conveniently located near the centre, just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and the downtown area. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating, even assisting with the return of left-behind belongings free of charge. Additionally, the motel offers a great view of the lake, allowing for enjoyable sunsets from the balcony.

The blinds in the front windows don't provide proper coverage, causing the heat pump to blow them around and disrupt the comfort of the room.

We stayed at this venue next to the lake on the edge of the town shopping area. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. The room was equipped with everything we needed, including a kitchen and free toiletries. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We absolutely loved our stay at this motel! The location couldn't have been better - just a 2-minute walk to the main shopping area in Taupo and with a fantastic view of Lake Taupo. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for all of us. The two-storey apartment was spacious and modern, with a large bedroom upstairs equipped with a flat screen TV, and another room with two single beds. Downstairs, there was a double bed, another flat screen TV, a kitchenette with a hot plate and microwave, and overall. We also loved the fact that there were balconies on both floors, providing us with lovely outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the view.

We honestly felt really comfortable during our stay and had nothing to complain about.

My Christmas vacation was amazing! I loved being able to wake up and see the sparkling lake from my room, and the perfect location near downtown made it so easy to explore the town. the complimentary breakfast was delicious and kept me fueled up for the day ahead, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home. Plus, the room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

While the location was great, it did come with some noise from the street outside. And although the room was cozy, the air conditioning unit was a bit outdated.

We had a great stay at Le Chalet Suisse! the self-contained accommodation was perfect for our family, with separate areas and bathrooms on both levels. We loved the choice of a separate shower or a relaxing spa bath in the room, complete with bath salts. the free wifi was a much-appreciated bonus. the location was excellent, with easy access to the lake, restaurants, and shops. a lovely stay in Taupo.
