The location near Forsyth Barr Stadium and dining options was perfect. the room was spacious, and my son and I slept comfortably. the hosts were accommodating, allowing early check-in. the breakfast selection was fantastic. My son and I enjoyed relaxing in the leisure room and exploring nearby attractions like the Botanic Garden and Art Gallery, making our family bonding time special. the staff's warmth added to a great stay.

i had a lovely stay at sahara guest house. the welcoming reception, spacious rooms, and delicious breakfast made my visit enjoyable. everything was clean, and the restored old fixtures added charm. the central location was convenient, and the staff were accommodating with helpful tips. ample parking available too.

Excellent option for a stay in Dunedin. Room was both clean and cosy. Whilst there were shared bathrooms, these were always kept very clean and tidy. Staff have been incredibly helpful and friendly throughout. Location wise, it’s only a short walk to the city centres. Can not recommend this place enough!

During my two-week stay at Sahara, I was warmly welcomed by Mike and Julie. the room was clean, cosy, and had great amenities like an electric blanket and heat pump. I loved the daily buffet breakfasts. the location was ideal for exploring the city and the staff made me feel at home.

This hotel is a gem in the heart of Dunedin! the staff here truly went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. the location of the hotel is a dream for anyone exploring the city on foot. It’s right on George Street, so you're super close to everything - shops, eateries, and attractions. the communal spaces are cozy and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. the friendly hosts always had a smile and a chat, making me feel right at home. the complimentary continental breakfast with freshly baked muffins was a lovely touch, setting the tone for a fantastic day ahead.

If I had to nitpick, it would be useful to have better lighting in the shower cubicle. It took me a bit to figure out there was a sensor for the light, so a heads-up during the check-in process could be helpful.

I felt like royalty dining at Bacchus Wine Bar, sublime menu paired with fine wines. the festival's craziness was contagious, and the penguins stole the show at Penguin Place.

I had a blast trying to figure out how to open the heavy automatic doors. Pure delight.

Our stay at the historic house was cozy and welcoming. the room with its comfortable bed made us feel right at home. Off-street parking, great breakfast, and easy access to city attractions. the shared lounge was a nice touch. Overall, I'll recommend this hotel.
