my recent stay in Orewa was a little getaway and Silverdale Retreat exceeded all my expectations. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and the supplies for breakfast were incredibly generous. I loved the privacy of the caravan and the beautiful gardens. It's also conveniently located near a shopping center and restaurants.

Beautiful surroundings and friendly hosts combined with a peaceful atmosphere made for a relaxing stay. the room had an effective heater and comfy bedding, while the breakfast provided was appreciated. Plenty of storage space, blackout blinds, and insect screens made for pleasant and practical room amenities. the location is great, with easy access to shops, supermarkets, cafes, and beaches.

Hot water was limited and showers were brief. the bed didn't accommodate taller guests well.

Our stay at Silverdale Retreat was a pleasant and new experience. Overnighting in a caravan was something I had never done before, and it turned out to be a delightful change of pace. The facilities within the caravan were perfectly adequate, and the continental breakfast provided was more than sufficient. The beautiful grounds and abundance of bird life added to the charm of our stay. I would highly recommend this unique retreat for a memorable getaway.
