Our recent stay at Eco Venao Lodge was absolutely fantastic. We initially booked a private room with a shared bathroom, which was a bit tight but for a very affordable price. The highlight of our stay, however, was when we decided to upgrade to one of the spacious casitas. These rooms had all the amenities we needed, including AC, hot showers, and a private balcony with a hammock. The view from our balcony overlooking the beautiful jungle was simply breathtaking.

Although the Wi-Fi signal wasn't the strongest throughout the property, we found that the best reception was at the reception area and the tienda. The only inconvenience we encountered was occasional power outages due to heavy rain, but the staff had a generator to mitigate the impact.

the main restaurant served incredible food, far exceeding our expectations. the atmosphere was lovely, and our room was comfortable and clean. We stayed in one of the small but charming cabañas uphill, which offered an amazing view. the beach area was nice, and the bar served excellent cocktails. the trail to the waterfall was beautiful and provided a unique experience. the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Plus, we even had the incredible opportunity to see monkeys at the hostel entrance. It was truly amazing!

The location of this lodge is absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush green nature and offering a true connection with the natural environment. The staff members at the reception and restaurant were friendly and helpful, providing good service throughout my stay. the food at the restaurant was of premium quality and offered great value for money.

One disadvantage of this lodge is the lack of maintenance in the common areas. It is evident that more staff is needed to keep these areas in good shape.

I had an amazing stay at this eco lodge. The setting was beautiful, with easy beach access and stunning views from my accommodation. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the daily maid service kept everything clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Manuel and Lili in the cafe. The location was peaceful and surrounded by nature, with daily hikes to a waterfall and hilltop lookout. The reforestation projects here were successful, allowing me to see white-faced and howler monkeys every day. The owners' commitment to environmental responsibility was commendable.

During our stay at Eco Venao Lodge, we were captivated by the stunning natural surroundings. The lodge is nestled within lush greenery, offering a tranquil atmosphere that allowed us to truly unwind. The Casona where we stayed was not only beautiful but also modern, with air conditioning in the bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. We appreciated the effort to preserve the endangered dry tropical forest, which adds to the lodge's eco-friendly charm. The nearby beaches were perfect for relaxation, especially the calmer ones suited for little kids. The availability of surfboard rentals right on the beach made it convenient for us to enjoy some surfing sessions. We also enjoyed mingling with the friendly regulars, which created a fun and inviting atmosphere. we highly recommend Eco Venao Lodge for a relaxing family vacation filled with surf and adventure.

We had an incredible time at Eco Venao! the location was a bit far from the main beach, but that's what made it so special - secluded in the jungle with the beach right in front. the on-site restaurant, coffee house, and bar served delicious food and drinks. We can't thank them enough for providing us with a great stay!

my anniversary stay at eco venao was simply incredible. the peaceful atmosphere, breathtaking views, and kind staff made it the perfect getaway. we loved being surrounded by nature and waking up to the sound of waves and monkeys. the comfortable bed and spacious kitchen were a bonus.

Surrounded by nature and wildlife, this lodge provided the perfect setting for a romantic escape. The beautiful sunrise and sunset spots were breathtaking and the quietness allowed us to feel truly at peace. The comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep, and the big kitchen made cooking a breeze. the friendly and easygoing people we encountered during our stay made us feel right at home.

We did encounter a few drawbacks during our time at the lodge. The private room we stayed in was small and noisy, which made it difficult to relax.

The private casita with a balcony and hammock was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed watching monkeys and birds in the surrounding jungle. The staff was friendly and we had a great time with them. The surf was also fantastic and we could easily rent boards at the beach. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable experience.
