I booked this apartment because it was conveniently located near the train station and within walking distance of many attractions. the neighborhood itself is historic and filled with Fado music, giving it a unique charm. the apartment was comfortable and fully equipped with all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine. One of the highlights was the restaurant downstairs that brought Fado music right into the apartment when we opened a window. the woman who met us was very helpful, even sending us a photo of the building beforehand. it was a great value for the location and we would recommend it to our family and friends.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city center. We could easily walk to all the main attractions and restaurants. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to drop off our luggage early. The rooms were cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

There were a few drawbacks to our experience. First, the stairs leading up to the apartment were steep and dirty, making them feel unsafe.

There was a lot of noise at night, making it difficult to sleep. The walls were thin, so we could hear people talking in the neighboring rooms.

We especially loved being able to lean out our window and listen to the fado musicians playing nearby.

Our New Year stay at this hotel was a memorable experience. the location was absolutely perfect, situated in a lively and atmospheric area. We were able to easily explore the surroundings on foot and had convenient access to the metro, tram, and ferry. the hotel offered a well-designed and modern space, with beautiful balconies that provided a lovely view. One of the highlights was being able to enjoy fado music from the balcony; it created a truly authentic and immersive experience.

The attention to detail was lacking, as we would have appreciated finding some basic essentials such as coffee, salt, or a bottle of water upon arrival. the pictures of the apartment did not accurately reflect the actual space we stayed in.

Situated in the Old City Center, the building is charming and overlooks a restaurant, making it convenient for dining options.

Some guests reported concerns about security, with incidents of thefts and a lack of lock boxes for valuables.

We had an amazing time staying at a modern designed, beautiful house in Alfama. the location was perfect, with convenient access to public transport and plenty of great restaurants nearby. the apartment was clean, comfortable, and provided excellent value for money. We also appreciated being able to leave our bags for a few extra hours before our departure. It was a fun and lively spot, especially during St Anthony's festival, with a street party every day and night. Although the noise from the restaurants below was expected, it didn't bother us, and the provided ear plugs came in handy.

It was wonderful to be able to sit in our living room and listen to Fado music from downstairs. the apartment was clean and had all the necessary amenities, including a coffee machine. the woman who met us was very helpful and even sent us a photo of the building, which was greatly appreciated. there was a left luggage service nearby. the apartment offered excellent value for its prime location.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was exceptional, with new and clean towels provided. The hotel facilities were well-equipped, including a fully functional kitchen and a washing machine. The location was perfect, right in the centre of this charming old town. It only took me about 5-10 minutes to walk to the centre of Lisbon. Plus, being in the heart of the Fado area was a unique experience.

Additionally, the noise from the nightlife in the area could be bothersome, especially for light sleepers. The lack of storage space for unpacking clothes was also a downside, and the slim cupboard provided was already filled with extra bedding.
