We got great value for our money at Douro Suites. The room was stunning and the attention to detail was impressive. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by natural beauty. The staff treated us like royalty, nothing was too much trouble.

The value we got for our money was exceptional and the room was absolutely stunning. The location by the water with the breathtaking river and mountain views was like something out of a postcard. The staff at this hotel were incredibly attentive, striking the perfect balance between helpfulness and giving us privacy.

The breakfast option could have been better, especially for those with food intolerances.

We had a very relaxing stay surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the river. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. We enjoyed spending our day by the pool, taking in the peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and the view from our room was breathtaking. The hotel had well-equipped public rooms and the garden was a lovely place to relax.

Some of the outdoor furniture and decorations could use some updating.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were impressed by the attention to detail and the excellent service provided by the friendly staff. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and we especially enjoyed the stunning view of the river and the beautiful grounds. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to transportation and plenty of parking available. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of freshly prepared foods. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

It would have been helpful to have a list of tours and tour guides readily available, and the lack of a restaurant on-site for dinner was not initially communicated. However, there are nearby dining options within walking distance that offer delicious food.

Perfect place to enjoy the Douro river, if you're into fishing and cycling, and don't mind being far away from everything. Free WiFi in public areas, so you can post how isolated you are. Outdoor pool and hot tub to soak in the serene beauty.
