The value for money at Hotel Gaivota was great, with a spacious room and a convenient kitchenette. The location was fantastic, close to a supermarket, restaurants, and tourist spots. The staff were friendly and spoke English fluently.

Menu for breakfast could be improved with stronger coffee and less diluted juice.

Our stay at Hotel Gaivota Azores was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The front desk staff provided us with helpful suggestions and even called a taxi for us. The hotel's location across from the marina was perfect for exploring Ponta Delgada and the entire island of Sao Miguel. The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the harbor. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the water pressure in the bathroom was excellent. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a supermarket right next door. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Hotel Gaivota Azores to anyone visiting the Azores.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Hotel. The central location in Ponta Delgada was perfect for exploring the city and it was walking distance to major sites. The convenience of having a grocery store right next door was a huge plus. We also loved that the hotel was steps away from the departure point for whale-watching tours. And the balcony with a view of the ocean and port was a great bonus.

The hotel also had a lovely lounge area where I could relax and watch TV. this place exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.
