This hotel is conveniently located just out of the crowds at the center of the city. We could easily walk to the main attractions, including the castles. The view from our room was nice and the breakfast provided was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Everything is what I need and want.

Lawrences is a well-situated hotel, just a short 5-minute walk from the town centre. the hotel offers beautiful views from the rooms, which is one of its redeeming features. the staff are helpful and speak English, and the hotel has an elevator for easy access to the various levels. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, with a separate sitting room. the location is superb, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and transportation hubs.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel in a historic building. the staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good. Our room, called Case de Cha, had the best bed I have ever slept on in a hotel, with a firm memory foam mattress. It also had a separate lounge area with a beautiful view of the valley filled with trees. the location was perfect, right in town and within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

I particularly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel for senior people like myself. The staff ensured that there were no obstacles or inconveniences that could hinder our ease of movement and enjoyment during our stay.

While most of the staff were pleasant and helpful, I would have appreciated a bit more attentiveness. It would have been nice if the children of the staff had offered us a cup of tea or a glass of water while we waited for our room.

This hotel made our city break unforgettable. They gave us complementary wine at our arrival and they offer complementary tea and coffee throughout the day, which was very nice. the hotel is located in a perfect spot, close to all the main attractions, so we didn't need to worry about transportation. the view from our room was stunning, and we took advantage of their terrace, which had a beautiful view of the city.

Although the breakfast was good, there weren't a lot of options for vegetarians. the staff could have been more helpful with finding parking spaces nearby.

Spacious Lord Byron suite with charming balcony and great views. Ideal location for exploring Quinta da Regaleira and hiking to Pena Palace. Well-prepared a la carte breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lawrences was not only beautiful but also very charming and historic. the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my entire stay. the room I stayed in had stunning views of the garden and mountains, and it was so quiet at night that I had a peaceful sleep. the hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk away from the heart of the town and close to all the major attractions. the included breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs.

Only drawback: The only minor issue I encountered was the lack of extra space in the room for personal items. It would have been nice to have a shelf or counter area to organize my belongings.

The staff treated us like royalty, from saving us a parking spot to surprising us with a bottle of champagne in our room for our wedding celebration. The breakfast was delicious and the famous restaurant exceeded our expectations. an amazing experience.
