We stayed at Novotel with a group of friends for 4 nights. the staff was very helpful and breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. the location of the hotel was very good, and we were able to easily reach Porto by bus or taxi. We also appreciated the convenience of having a little boat nearby to take us across the Douro. the staff, from reception to the bar and dining room, were all cheerful and provided great service. the rooms were clean and the breakfast buffet was of high quality.

I recently stayed at the Novotel in Gaia for a golfing break with a group of 12 people. Our second year staying here, and the experience was excellent overall. The staff at reception were good and the breakfast team provided friendly and exceptional service. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the free WiFi was a bonus. We were impressed with the quality and value of the breakfast buffet and evening meals. The manager runs an excellent hotel, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Le Bar is undoubtedly the perfect place to relax and savor a glass of port wine. The hotel restaurant serves modern cuisine with regional snacks. Novotel Porto Gaia is ideal for families or small business trips.

The cleanliness was top-notch, with the rooms being very clean. The hotel facilities, especially the pool and gardens, were excellent. It was refreshing to have a dip in the pool after a day of exploring. The location was very convenient, not far from the city center and the historic river sites. We also appreciated the easy access to transportation. The breakfast provided was brilliant, with a wide selection of fresh produce and flexible opening hours. The staff were all helpful and friendly, making us feel valued as guests.

Really enjoyed my stay in this hotel! the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I was pleased to find that my room was equipped with tea and coffee making facilities which is uncommon in this area. the location was great, just a short distance from a fantastic shopping centre and easy to reach by car from the motorway. Plus, the hotel facilities were really good.

Although I had a wonderful stay, I did find that the hotel was a bit confusing at times. the amenities listed on my reservation weren't always available, which was a bit disappointing.

Located away from the city attractions, this hotel is a convenient base for exploring Porto's major tourist spots. With easy access to the highway and Arrabida bridge, it's a great starting point for trips to the north or south of Portugal. The hotel also offers free parking, an excellent breakfast, and comfortable rooms with a nice garden and swimming pool.

Public transport doesn't directly take you to the hotel, so you'll need a taxi to reach the wine cellars in Gaia or the city center.

I had an excellent stay at Novotel in Gaia. The location was perfect, close to the Gaia port wine area and Porto. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for my family of four. The breakfast provided a wide variety of delicious options. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.
