Beautiful boutique hotel! Excellent location, just steps away from the university and close to the old part of town. Loved the comfortable room with its nice shower facilities. the hotel lobby had a cozy bar where we could relax and enjoy a drink. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our romantic escape even more enjoyable.

Although the hotel offered a nice breakfast, there were limited options for those with dietary restrictions. for those who needed to leave early, the breakfast was served at 7:30 and couldn't be enjoyed earlier.

Staff incredibly helpful and attentive, made us feel special. Wine hour and welcome drink were great. Room was superb, spacious, clean and modern yet maintaining the character of the building. The rooftop patio and outside patio were amazing. The attention to detail in the design of the hotel and villa was truly gorgeous. Breakfast was outstanding and the coffee/cake selection in the afternoon was amazing.

sapientia boutique really went above and beyond during my recent stay in coimbra. the staff, especially maya, made me feel so welcomed and the modern, minimalistic decor was both functional and efficient. being within walking distance of the main attractions was such a convenience.

Vegan options were lacking.

The staff at this hotel were extremely accommodating, offering us complimentary drinks and snacks upon our late arrival. the location was ideal, within easy walking distance to major attractions, while the decor was trendy yet understated. the breakfast spread was tasty and offered a variety of options to suit all tastes.

finding a parking spot was challenging and required driving through narrow and complicated streets. the stay was enjoyable but could have been improved with a few small upgrades to the amenities and parking situation.

Christmas at this hotel was magical. the staff made us feel warm and welcomed, and the festive decorations added to the joyful atmosphere. We were delighted to receive a glass of port and a custard tart upon arrival, a lovely touch. the location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk away from the main attractions of the city. We enjoyed exploring the university and the charming streets of Coimbra. Another great aspect of our stay was the delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

There were a few aspects that could be improved. we found the room layout to be a bit confusing and inconvenient.
