We had an incredible experience at this lodge. The tented accommodation was unique and comfortable. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a refreshing pool area and a restaurant with a stunning view of the waterhole. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Additionally, the location of the lodge felt secluded, yet it was still close to nearby attractions. The breakfast provided was delicious, and we had the option to choose from a variety of dishes for dinner.

We had a half board option with a delicious 3-course dinner and a hot/cold buffet breakfast at Buffelsdrift. The tents were beautifully decorated and the bed was spacious and cozy, perfect for a cold night. The view from the tent overlooking the dam with hippos and various birdlife was stunning. The property was well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The highlight of our stay was interacting with the elephants - a must-do experience. a lovely getaway!

We had a wonderful experience at this lodge. The luxury tents were spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and even electric blankets for the cold nights. The staff provided excellent service, from the moment we arrived and were greeted with a golf buggy to help with our luggage, to the guides who assisted us during our stay. The lodge had great facilities, including a fridge in the tent and outdoor seating where we could relax and enjoy the view. We also loved the game drive, where we got to see a variety of animals and learn about the flora in the reserve. The food in the restaurant was also excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my husband who has difficulty walking.

Everything was fantastic.

The views from our room were absolutely stunning, overlooking a hippo pool. We also had the opportunity to feed the elephants, which was a truly unique and memorable experience. The knowledgeable guides made the safari a highlight of our trip.

Although the restaurant had decent food, the service was not the best. The overall ambiance of the location lacked the charm we expected from a game lodge.

Our stay at Buffelsdrift was a lovely and relaxing experience. The glamping tents had great facilities and offered a peaceful ambiance. The location by the waterfront was beautiful, and we enjoyed spotting animals like hippos and elephants. The pool area was also a highlight, and the breakfast at the restaurant was very good. The staff, particularly the waiters in the evenings, were attentive and provided good service. it was a great place for a short stay in the Karoo.
