The room was stunning, with a great bathroom. Unfortunately, there was a loud wedding party, but we were compensated with a free breakfast and partial refund. I highly recommend this hotel.

This place is absolutely stunning! The location amongst the mountains with a beautiful stream running through the valley is just breathtaking. The rooms are so comfortable, and the little details like the ostrich feather notes and lavender sprigs added a special touch. The staff here are so helpful and accommodating, and the service is excellent. The swimming pools are lovely to relax by, and the kids had a blast playing with the bunnies. I can't wait to come back and stay here again!

We loved staying at this place! The location was amazing, right on the river and surrounded by beautiful mountains. The service was exceptional, with room service, dry cleaning, and housekeeping always available. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs. Our room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed including free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a terrace with garden furniture.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay with excellent service.

We enjoyed our stay in the area with fantastic nature and activities. The location was ideal, right across the river and close to the Cango Caves and Wildlife. Our room was well-appointed, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the dam. The breakfast spread was delicious and the staff provided great service throughout our stay.

We did experience some disturbance due to dogs wandering around, which can be uncomfortable for some guests.

The dinners were exceptional! Very friendly and jovial owners. Good breakfast with local delicacies. Picturesque property with beautiful surroundings. Perfect for families with children.

The family unit was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Access to the garden and rabbits was easy and close. Lots to keep children busy with in play park. Staff tried their best to accommodate us.

I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The cabin I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The large kitchen cum living-room at the front was a great feature, and the balcony provided a lovely spot to relax. The cleanliness of the rooms and cottages was impressive, and the well-kept setting in the rural countryside added to the charm. The hotel had excellent facilities, including a good restaurant with a terrace for both dinner and breakfast. The buffet breakfast offered a variety of delicious options. The staff were friendly and provided easy check-in and check-out. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to all the major attractions in the area, including the Cango Caves and the Swartberg Pass. The hotel also provided free parking, which was convenient.

Xmas was fabulous! We had a great time with two complementary gifts and a beautiful location! the rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious. the outdoor shower and big bath in the room were amazing. We loved the privacy of the lodging, and the view was stunning.

Facilities on the property were excellent, particularly for families with children. There were plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained, including bunnies, ponies, and a play area. the luxury tent we stayed in was extremely comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. the location was also a major advantage, being close to popular tourist attractions such as the Cango Caves.

The food at dinner was below average and there were limited options for those wanting something specific, like toasted sandwiches.

They greeted us, showed us to our room, and even switched on the air conditioner beforehand. the little details like that really made a difference. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fresh options to choose from. the kids loved the activities and animals, making it a great place for families. a fantastic experience at Old Mill Lodge.

We recently returned to the Old Mill Lodge, and everything was better than we remembered. The spacious and comfortable room, along with the great restaurant and delicious breakfast, exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed petting the rabbits and ponies, watching the deer, and even swimming in one of the amazing pools. The surroundings and nature at the lodge were absolutely breathtaking. We especially loved the views from our balcony. The friendly and caring duty manager made our stay even more enjoyable. The beautiful apartment and tasteful layout added to the overall experience. With a superb menu and excellent service, the restaurant was a highlight. The neat and nice breakfast venue and friendly catering staff made our mornings even better. This place is an absolute must for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail and the fully equipped kitchenette and braai facilities were greatly appreciated, making our stay even more pleasurable.

We had an amazing time at the lodge. the cabin on the dam felt incredibly luxurious, and the tame bunnies were a delightful addition to our stay. the freedom for the children to play and explore the grounds, including the jungle gym and rowing on the dam, was a joy. the staff, especially George and Elsabe, were friendly and made us feel like royalty. Not to mention, the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. a truly memorable experience.
