As a tourist, I absolutely loved the warm welcome upon arrival. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and personal, making me feel at home. The morning conversations over breakfast were enjoyable, and the free espresso was a delightful treat. The location was perfect, with plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance. And the coffee? Absolutely the best!

The location of the guesthouse is ideal for exploring the city, as it is relatively close to all the places we wanted to visit. We were able to easily walk to the waterfront and enjoy the beautiful views. Additionally, there are many good restaurants in the area, which made it convenient for us to grab a bite to eat. The room we stayed in was comfortable and had a great bed, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast provided each morning was delicious and we felt well taken care of by the friendly and helpful staff.

The soundproofing in the guesthouse could be improved, as we could sometimes hear noise from other guests or outside.

The historical charm of the guesthouse is unmatched. I had an exceptional experience and would highly recommend Tintagel to anyone visiting Cape Town.

Although I only stayed for a short time, I wished I could have extended my stay. The only minor issue I encountered was the low water pressure in the shower, but it did not diminish the overall experience.

We recently had a city trip and stayed in a Victorian-style guesthouse. the breakfast was sensational with a wide range of food offered. the location was perfect, just a short walk to an array of restaurants and bars, and well-connected to access the city's main routes. the beautiful and unique room was very inviting and clean, with a super comfortable bed.

The only thing we can say is that the atmosphere somehow felt a bit impersonal, not very cozy, and didn't have a home-feel vibe. However, we still had a great stay at this Victorian-style guesthouse and highly recommend it to anyone who's planning a city trip.
