The staff at the hotel was really helpful and friendly, available 24/7 at the desk to answer any questions. The location of the hotel was super central, just a few minutes' walk from the main attractions like the Ramblas and the La Bouqueria market. It was tucked away on the side streets, providing a hidden and intimate atmosphere. From the balcony, you could enjoy a view of the Santa Maria cathedral and a small square where artists displayed and sold their art. Additionally, the room was spotlessly clean and tidied every day.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the old town, just steps away from the Metro. It claims to be one of the oldest hotels in the city, dating back to the 1830s. I loved the fact that my room had a terrace with breathtaking views. It was a small room, but very comfortable with a great bed. the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.

The building's old design could be a problem for some guests, as there were quite a few stairs to climb to reach reception and the elevator. the noise from the square below could be disturbing, especially at night.
