Our visit to the nearby Monasterio de Santa Maria la Real was a delightful family experience. The kids were in awe of the beautiful architecture and fascinating history of the place. It was a perfect stop during our stay at Hostal Ciudad De Najera.

My wife says that it would have been great to have a small playground or play area for the children at the hotel.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with plenty of natural light. The hotel is located on a quiet street, just off the Camino, and only a short walk to the riverside and the restaurants in the old quarter. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even offering me a cold drink when there was a temporary water shut-off. I especially appreciated their helpfulness, providing restaurant recommendations and even ice for my swollen ankle. The location of the hotel was also ideal, being close to shops and restaurants.

The immediate surroundings of the hotel might not be the most visually appealing, with tired and shabby adjacent buildings.

As a budget traveler, I appreciated the very reasonable price of the hotel. The manager was incredibly helpful and even offered us a bottle of wine! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for those walking the Camino. There were plenty of restaurants and bars within a short walk, and the historical area had lots to see. a great option for a one night stay or even longer.

The hotel manager and staff were very pleasant and helpful, and they even gave me a complimentary bottle of rioja upon arrival. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to the town center, by the river, and near the impressive monastery. I also appreciated the hotel's proximity to local restaurants and other amenities.

I had a fantastic stay at this charming hostel! the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, remembering our previous messages and our long Camino de Santiago journey. They even gave us great restaurant recommendations, leading us to our favorite meal of the entire trip. the room had a lovely character, with beautiful colors that gave it a South American vibe. the bed and pillows were super comfortable, and the shower was excellent. We also had a small balcony with a view of the red rocks and rooftops. I would definitely stay here again when I return to this wonderful town.

The location of Hostal Ciudad De was excellent, close to the Camino and in the historical area. We enjoyed the outdoor bars and restaurants nearby. Although there were no bar or restaurant amenities on site, we were greeted with a cold beer at check-in, which was a nice touch. Our room had a great view of the red rock cliffs and the decor was lovely. the bedding was also very comfortable. It was a nice experience overall, with our luggage delivered to our room before our arrival and even ear plugs provided.

He even arranged for laundry service at a reasonable price. a fantastic experience!

This hotel is perfectly situated, just a stone's throw away from the Camino and within walking distance of charming riverside cafes and bars. The rooms are comfortable and spotless, with even earplugs provided for a peaceful night's sleep. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations for local restaurants. The convenient location allows you to easily explore the nearby Monastery and enjoy the beautiful view by the river.

The lighting on the staircase could be improved, as the lights don't automatically switch on in the morning.

They even recommended a restaurant that ended up being our favorite meal of the entire trip. the room had a charming South American feel with beautiful colors, and everything was comfortable, from the cozy bed to the great shower. We had a lovely view of the red rocks and caves from our balcony, and the location was perfect for exploring the historical area and enjoying the nearby restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Nájera.
