Mind-blowing location! Just across the street from one of the most famous landmarks. Super central. The host was jaw-droppingly helpful and kind, even upgraded me to a better room for free. Loved the old Spanish house vibes and using the ancient elevator. The team was incredibly friendly.

We've stayed at this hotel three times and each time has been a great experience. The location is perfect for exploring the city, with major museums and sightseeing spots within walking distance. The staff is friendly and the rooms are always clean. Despite a few small inconveniences like a lack of power points and hard pillows, our overall stay has been fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Madrid. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming hostel in the heart of the city. The location was perfect, with great tapas spots and plaza santa anna just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check out a couple of hours late. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the building was well-kept. The elevator, although small, was reliable and saved us from lugging our bags up the stairs. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay in Madrid.

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely place called Hostal Gonzalo. the hotel is situated on a quiet street, perfect for exploring Madrid on foot. the room was clean and cozy with a small balcony overlooking the street. the staff and owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. the location was ideal, close to Retiro Park and the Museo de Prado. I especially appreciated the air conditioning during my stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in Madrid.

We loved the hotel's excellent location, close to all the main sightseeings in the centre. It was very convenient for us to explore this city on foot or by using public transportation. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, with spotless rooms and renovated bathrooms that were comfortable and clean. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, with great attention to detail and nothing being too much trouble. The addition of air conditioning was fantastic, particularly for those hot summer days.

The tapas bars and taxi stand right around the corner were a bonus. The staff, Javier and Saul, were exceptional and went above and beyond to assist when my husband needed medical attention late at night. I am so grateful for their help and would highly recommend staying at this hotel to friends and family.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a great neighborhood. The location was very close to the City Center and easy to reach from-and-to the airport. The hotel facilities were clean and comfortable, with a warm and comfortable bed. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the gentle staff. The neighborhood was safe and had lots of shops and tapas bars. We loved that everything was near, including the city center, museums, and metro stations. The internet connection was good, allowing us to stay connected during our stay.

Amazing location in Barrio de las Letras, close to major attractions. AC was nice after a long day of walking in the summer heat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Charger was returned to us when we left it behind.
