The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk to all the major attractions. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was top-notch, which was a lifesaver in the Spanish heat. The room was compact, but the bathroom was almost brand new with a large walk-in shower. I felt right at home during my two nights there and would definitely choose to stay again.

For my recent trip to Madrid, I stayed at Hostal Marlasca for a few nights. The location was perfect, as it was close to all the main sightseeing areas. It was also just a short walk to Puerta del Sol. Despite being near bars, the hotel was tucked away on a side street, ensuring minimal noise with the windows closed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they quickly addressed our noise complaint about our neighboring room. The size of the room was larger than the average European hotel room, and the bed was fairly comfortable. Additionally, there were plenty of great food options just steps from the hotel.

The friendly staff is available 24/7 and there are vending machines for added convenience.

The staff were extremely helpful, especially when one of us lost her passport - they went above and beyond to assist us.

I had a fantastic stay at this budget hotel in a prime location. the single room was spacious and had everything I needed. the AC worked well, which was a blessing after a long day of exploring. the staff were incredibly helpful and available 24/7. the best part was the location, just off Plaza del Sol but on a quieter side street. It was surrounded by great bars and restaurants, making it convenient and safe for a solo traveler like myself. I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money and would definitely choose to stay here again.

The hotel's decoration was charming and had a cozy and welcoming feel to it. The common areas were well-maintained and had comfortable seating areas where I could relax after a long day of exploring Madrid. The hotel was also easily accessible for senior people like me, with an elevator available to go up to my room and a 24-hour reception where the staff was always ready to assist me.

I wish the children working there had a better command of English to better assist international guests like me.

The location is so great, it's like being in the heart of Madrid! The free Wi-Fi was a lifesaver, I could still post pictures of my tapas while exploring the city. The friendly staff made me feel welcome, as if I was staying in a 5-star hotel.

Oh, there was one small issue. the bathroom mirror in my daughter's room was so tiny, I could barely see my own fabulous reflection.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing me to fall asleep instantly. One thing I really appreciated was the availability of lockers to store my belongings before check-in, as I arrived early in the morning. Despite the staff's limited English, we had clear communication, even with my broken Spanish. Melina, in particular, was extremely helpful in providing city information and suggestions on things to do. I found the location, cleanliness, and friendly staff of this hostel to be great.

To be fair, there was nothing I didn't like during my stay. 😊
