We had a fantastic stay at the hotel near Adams Peak. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, offering us lots of advice for our trek. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with large beds and a balcony overlooking the beautiful surroundings. the restaurant served delicious food, especially the generous breakfast. We also appreciated that the owners organized walking trips to explore the area further. Hugging Clouds provided a wonderful experience for our Adams Peak adventure.

We had an amazing experience at Hugging Clouds! The owners were incredibly friendly and provided us with all the information we needed for our trip. The food was exceptional and the cook was one of the best we encountered during our travels. The guest house had a nice and simple decoration, with white-colored furniture that we loved. The location was perfect for families and it was within walking distance to the start of the hike. The atmosphere created by the friendly staff, especially Lydia, was truly special and made our stay more than perfect. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.

Nothing that I didn't like.

I stayed in a cozy room at Hugging Clouds with a lovely view of the mountains. The bathroom was clean and had hot water for a relaxing shower after a long day of hiking. The staff were attentive and provided me with everything I needed before I even had to ask. They even gave me some great recommendations for nearby attractions, like a picturesque waterfall that I could explore on my own. After the hike, I was able to unwind and watch movies in the comfortable common area.

Some monkeys seem to be a bit too curious, so I had to make sure to lock the doors and windows when leaving my balcony.

I was impressed by the friendly and attentive owner and his family at Hugging Clouds. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and provided me with all the necessary information for my hike up Adam’s Peak. The delicious home-cooked dinner and breakfast were a delightful bonus. The location was perfect, with easy access to the trailhead and a stunning view of the mountains from my room's terrace.

Although the shower pressure and temperature could have been a bit higher, it didn't hinder my overall experience at Hugging Clouds. Additionally, the wifi was a bit spotty, but considering the beautiful surroundings, it didn't bother me too much.

I had a really great stay at Hugging Clouds! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my visit. They even offered me some tips to climb Adam's Peak, which turned out to be very useful. The restaurant served the best rice and curry I've ever had in Sri Lanka. The rooms were nice and comfortable, with a big balcony to enjoy the view. One drawback was that the shower had hot and cold water fluctuation, but it was a minor issue. I had an excellent experience at Hugging Clouds and I would definitely recommend it to others.

I recently stayed at the cozy Hugging Clouds hotel for a wonderful hiking trip to Adam's Peak. The location couldn't have been better - just a 5-minute walk to the trailhead, eliminating the need for tuk-tuks. The views from the windows and balcony were breathtaking, rivaling those of a 5-star hotel. The open kitchen in the restaurant provided a delightful fire show, adding to the dining experience. The breakfast was delicious and they kindly served it after our hike. The clean bathroom and comfortable room added to the overall satisfaction. The staff, especially Madu, the general manager, were incredibly helpful and provided great tips and instructions for our hike and even organized a fantastic tour of the Tea Plantation area and Waterfalls. Can recommend this hotel without hesitation.
