This hotel offers great value for money. The rooms are basic but clean, with good working facilities and a private bathroom. The staff are friendly and helpful, providing a simple but well-made breakfast. The location is also lovely, set in a charming garden next to a splendid river.

I had a fantastic stay at Megabe Villa! The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful touches like candles and glasses in the room, giving it a hotel-like ambiance. The bathroom was also impressive and well-maintained. The highlight for me was the beautiful and expansive garden behind the house, perfect for relaxation. The welcome drink of fresh juice was a refreshing touch. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay.

Very big clean room with wardrobe and rack, friendly owner, reasonable prices for drinks, excellent host with good English, wealth of local knowledge.

I had an amazing stay at a beautiful villa by the river. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The owner and staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lovely garden with birds and monkeys. The location was convenient, close to Galle center and the fort. I enjoyed watching big lizards by the river.

The lighting in the room could have been better, especially for reading.

The hotel was located near the beach and it was easy to find. the surrounding area was very quiet, which was great for a good night's sleep. the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, which made us feel welcomed.

The room was a bit small and there was not enough storage space for our belongings. the breakfast was mediocre and lacked options.
