I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The prices were very reasonable, offering great value for money. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service. The rooms were comfortable and offered an amazing view of the valley, with beautiful tea plantations. The breakfast provided was delicious, adding to the overall experience.

the family who runs the homestay, especially Siwwandi, provided exceptional hospitality. They not only spoke perfect English but also helped us with our daily hiking trips, bus stops, and train times. Siwwandi even prepared delicious Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner for us, and her banana pancakes were a favorite takeaway for our hiking trips. the homestay itself offered clean rooms with stunning views of the valley and tea plantations. Watching the sunrise from there was truly magical.

The owners were incredibly helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They even provided us with a delicious take-away breakfast when we left early for a hike. The view from the guesthouse was stunning and it was conveniently located just a short walk from downtown. Despite the town not being particularly interesting, the warm showers and comfortable amenities made up for it. We also appreciated the unique and cozy interior of the guesthouse. we had a great experience and would highly recommend this place.

They took us to a cultural festival called "arms giving" where we had the opportunity to serve food to monks and try a variety of delicious local dishes. the hosts also ensured that our little boy had a great time playing with their own child. the room we stayed in was superb, with a balcony offering breathtaking views. the owners even picked us up from the train station and arranged for tours of nearby attractions. We highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional hospitality and unforgettable experiences.

We had the most amazing stay at this place! the hosts at Polo Region Rest Inn were incredibly helpful and made us feel like part of their family. They were excellent at planning day trips around the area and provided taxi and tuk tuk services at reasonable prices. the lady host even gave us a cookery class in perfect English, where we learned to make delicious Sri Lankan dishes. the food at the inn was always tasty and the breakfast spread was huge. We especially loved their coffee. the view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the stunning tea plantations. It was such a peaceful and idyllic place to watch the sunrise.

We had a romantic escape at this hotel and it had some nice factors. the views were spectacular and really set the perfect mood for our getaway. the location was ideal as it was close to both the city center and nearby restaurants. On top of that, we appreciated the complementary tuktuk ride for day trips.

The rooms were not as clean as we had hoped and there were some issues with bugs. Another thing we disliked was the breakfast which was average at best and lacked variety.
