The location of Rock View Hostel Ella is ideal for exploring nearby landmarks such as Uva Halpewatte Tea Factory, Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, and Kithal Ella Falls. the spa facilities and beautiful garden area provide relaxation after a day of sightseeing, enhancing family bonding. Unfortunately, the hostel can get noisy at times, affecting sleep quality. the comfortable dorms and friendly staff compensate for this drawback.

the owner was super friendly and a fantastic cook. the food was amazing, and the cooking class was so much fun and interesting. the room was big and comfortable with a nice balcony and wonderful views of the area. great value for the money. the mixed dorm had really comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast with an amazing view. the chilling area was perfect for meeting other travelers.

Compared to other places I've stayed, this hostel definitely stands out for its welcoming and helpful staff. the location is spot on, right at the heart of Ella. the common area offers stunning views of Ella Rock, making it a perfect spot to relax and meet fellow travelers. the private room was cozy and well worth the price. the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is both delicious and reasonably priced. Everything you need is within walking distance, which is super convenient.

Although my overall experience was positive, the cleanliness could be improved. Paying more attention to maintaining the bathrooms and changing bed linens regularly would make a big difference.

The location is fantastic, with everything you need right at your fingertips. It's conveniently situated near the bus stop, restaurants, and even a supermarket. You can easily access hiking trails and waterfalls nearby. The rooms and dorms are well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, making it easy to connect with fellow travelers. The hostel also features a kitchen where you can prepare your meals, as well as a terrace and common areas to relax and socialize.

There were a few instances where the water in the shower or sink wasn't functioning properly. However, upon notifying the staff, they were able to fix the issue promptly.

I gotta say, I really got my money's worth at Rock View Hostel. The room was spacious, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and everything was sparkling clean. Plus, the view of Ella Rock from the balcony was breathtaking. The staff treated me like family, always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend for couples, families, and solo travelers alike!
