The value for money at this resort is amazing, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, with beautiful beaches and plenty of water activities to enjoy. The staff was incredibly friendly and treated us like royalty throughout our stay.

The menu for breakfast could have been more varied, offering a wider selection of options.

Over Easter, we had an amazing time at a beach resort in Zanzibar. the property had direct access to a beautiful white beach with stunning views. the staff was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. They offered fantastic food with a variety of options that were delicious. the location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and activities.

The pool area became crowded at times, making it difficult to find sunbeds. there were some growing pains at the resort due to its recent opening, with some parts of the hotel not yet operational.

Excellent mix of ala carte restaurants and buffet options for lunch and dinner. Ice cream cafe with daily rotations of flavors. Extensive selection of white and rose wines. Solution-oriented staff eager to ensure a good vacation experience. Comfy sofas at the Eclipse bar.

We had the most amazing time at this resort on our family vacation. The staff were exceptional, always helpful and professional, making us feel relaxed and welcomed. The location was perfect, right on the beach with stunning views of the ocean. The room was impeccable, with the housekeeping team ensuring it was always clean and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, including fresh local fruits and tasty local cuisine. The facilities were top-notch, with plenty of sunbeds by the pool and a beautiful beach area to relax in.

We did notice that the prices for additional services at the hotel were quite high compared to local providers.

During my stay at Emerald Zanzibar Resort & Spa, I was impressed by the outstanding staff who were well-trained, professional, and incredibly helpful. From Oscar at the Bistro to Suni at Carrnevor, Mary and Jamal at Aqua, and the entire team at the Dive Centre, everyone went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. I especially appreciate Sean and Mathias from the Dive Centre for providing an amazing snorkeling and trial dive experience for me. The well-maintained landscape and garden area added a magical touch to the resort, attracting various species of butterflies. The food and drinks were exceptional, with a wide selection of restaurants and buffet options at Aqua. The housekeeping team kept my room impeccably clean, restocking amenities without me having to ask. The overall experience at Emerald Zanzibar Resort & Spa truly lived up to its name as a jewel in Zanzibar's resorts.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, there were a few minor improvements that could be made. It would have been nice to have a hanger in the shower area for towels instead of having them drip down the whole bathroom.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. the amenities were luxurious and fulfilled all of our needs. the staff provided excellent and attentive service. the Spa & wellness centre was top-notch and we enjoyed the full body massage and beauty treatments. the outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi had a beautiful view of the beach.

There was only one minor issue - the prices for additional services like massages were quite high, but this can be expected at a luxury hotel. this hotel delivered on all its promises and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.
