Our stay at The Seyyida Hotel And Spa was a true oasis in the heart of Stone Town. The location was perfect, with easy access to the promenade and all the interesting parts of the city. We loved relaxing by the pool after a day of exploring, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The highlight of our stay was when Catia, the hotel manager, went out of her way to make my birthday a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel had a great location, close to the ferry terminal and within walking distance to all the main attractions in the area. It was also conveniently located near coffee shops, restaurants, and tourist shops. the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

There were some negative aspects of our experience at the hotel. the housekeeping staff could have been more thorough in terms of cleanliness.

This elegant hotel was a treasure! The split-level room had style and a great view of the ocean from the balcony. The newly remodeled rooftop restaurant offered fantastic views of the harbour. The staff was attentive, arranging transportation and safely holding our luggage. The location felt safe and convenient, with shops and attractions nearby. Highly recommended!

The breakfast includes a nice touch of sparkling wine and offers a delicious array of choices. The convenient location allows for easy access to hot spots in town, such as Forodhani, Darajani, and Shangani. The presence of a pool is particularly beneficial for travelers with children or physical handicaps.

The hotel was gorgeous, with spacious and well-equipped family rooms. The pool was stunning and the restaurant on the rooftop was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the central location was convenient. We also enjoyed a lovely massage and appreciated the fresh flowers throughout.

The rooftop restaurant offered stunning views of the sea, making it a perfect spot to dine or relax.

The air conditioning unit in our room was quite noisy, which made it difficult for us to sleep at times.

Some guests mentioned that there were occasionally mosquitoes in the lobby, which could be a bit bothersome.

We loved the location of Seyiida - close to the beachfront and the Palace Museum. We loved the fact it was nestled amongst other Stonetown buildings as that let us watch everyday life from our balcony. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The room was a good size, and the shower was great! Our room was serviced daily with a turn down each night. Air conditioning was a blessing, and we weren't disturbed by the daily life passing beneath us. The spa was fabulous and I can't rave about this enough. Located on the first floor, only shutters are between the room and the atrium off the lobby, so the outside noises drift in as you are massaged. As we were there in the wet season, the noise of the rain kept me company. Magic.

The hotel location was great, surrounded by stores, and it was easy to find transportation. the room was spacious and well decorated. the staff was polite and helpful, they provided two complementary items, which were very much appreciated. the hotel also had a beautiful pool which was great for relaxation after a long day of work.

The restaurant was very unorganized and slow. the food was not worth the price tag, and the staff constantly tried to push their beliefs onto me which made me feel uncomfortable.

The hotel's location was perfect, as it was near everything, including the promenade. The menu at the restaurant was really good, and the chef and the food were amazing. It was especially nice to eat on the rooftop restaurant with lovely views. One thoughtful touch was that we were given cold facetowels to cool down when we returned from the warm outside. Additionally, all the excursions we wanted to book were conveniently located near the hotel. I left the hotel feeling extremely happy and satisfied, and I will definitely book here again when I return to this city.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with modern bathrooms. the AC worked extremely well. the rooftop restaurant was a highlight, with delicious breakfast and a stunning view.

We also had some issues with the bathroom, as the shower did not drain properly and the air conditioner was dripping when in use. However, these were minor inconveniences and did not significantly impact our overall experience.
