The hotel's location is perfect, right in the center of the China Town street food action and close to many activities we wanted to do in this city. The staff, especially Aeoy at reception and Ruby in the bar, were attentive and friendly.

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the beautiful and unique decor of the hotel, reminiscent of old Shanghai. the attention to detail was evident in the stunning lobby and the cozy ambiance of the hotel bar. Another great aspect was the peaceful retreat the hotel offered from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. the fishpond on the 2nd floor was a serene and beautiful spot to relax.

One downside was the lack of natural light in the room, as the curtains were sheer and did not provide privacy. Additionally, the street outside the hotel could get congested, making it difficult to catch a taxi or tuk-tuk.

Colorful and sexy decor, royalty-like experience, amenities provided, convenient location, close to tourist sites and train station.

The special atmosphere and style of Shanghai Mansion Bangkok - Sha Extra Plus really transported us to old Shanghai. the decor with the beautiful paper lanterns created the perfect mood. the location was also fantastic, with Chinatown right at our doorstep and a new MRT station nearby. the bar on the first floor served fantastic cocktails and the live music added to the ambiance.
