Perfect location, friendly staff, well-equipped room, great restaurant.

I had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse in Chiang Mai. The location was excellent, close to the airport, the night market, and many eateries. The hotel facilities were basic, but everything was clean and working well. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel at home during my stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always willing to answer my questions and provide assistance. The hotel facilities were great, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The location was perfect, situated in the heart of the old town and within close walking distance to most tourist attractions. Transportation was readily available, making it easy to explore various places in this city.

The room was well equipped with all the amenities I needed, including strong wifi and a safe. the location was also great, with easy access to all the attractions in the city. One advantage I particularly enjoyed was the helpful and friendly staff, who made me feel welcomed and provided excellent service.

There were some minor issues with the staff, such as a lack of interest in pleasantries and a closed restaurant. Additionally, the TV in my room was not working throughout my stay, despite being promised that it would be fixed.

The location was quiet and peaceful, yet still within walking distance to Thapae Gate, the night market, and plenty of restaurants. I also enjoyed the delicious food at the connected restaurant. Our stay at the lodge was delightful. The rooms were beautifully designed with a touch of elegance, and we loved the cozy and vibrant atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, leaving a personal note for our late arrival. The location was ideal, with easy access to the night bazaar, Sunday market, and plenty of cafes and restaurants. The lodge's commitment to eco-friendliness was commendable as well. Although we found the restaurant slightly pricey for our backpacking budget, the overall value for money was exceptional. I highly recommend this gem of a place for a memorable stay.

The staff were excellent - helpful, friendly, and cheerful. the location was good with lots of places to walk to, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Being able to sit outside and watch the passing parade of people and tourists was an enjoyable experience.

The corridors and street were a bit noisy, especially during the Songkran festival. Additionally, the hotel was a little difficult to locate, especially if you were only staying for one night.

I had a great experience staying at a conveniently located lodge. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast and restaurant food were excellent, with a great variety of bottled beer to choose from. The outside seating area was comfortable, and the rooms were clean and recently redone. The only drawback was the slow internet, but it eventually improved. I would highly recommend this lodge for a pleasant stay.

The quiet side street was ideal and everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. We would definitely book again if we return to the city.

We had a great time staying at this guest house. the staff, especially the younger chap in the evenings, was always friendly and greeted us with a smile. the location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to the middle of the old city and visit one of the best temples. the best restaurants and attractions were also close by, making it convenient for us to explore the city. the room was clean and reasonably priced, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. we highly recommend Thapae Gate Lodge.
