I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The lads in the roof bar were also great, providing excellent service. The view from my room was lovely, overlooking the racecourse, and the location was perfect. It was just a short walk into town, and I felt safe walking around even at night. The parking was straightforward with spacious spots, which was a relief since I had a large car. The bathroom in my room was spacious and the size of the room itself was acceptable, considering I didn't spend much time in it. The staff, in general, were excellent, and the food at the hotel was superb. I would highly recommend this hotel and believe the staff deserves a pay rise from the Abode company.

My partner and I frequently stay at Abode and it is always a great experience. Paul, the barman, goes above and beyond to make sure we are well taken care of, and Nikita at reception is always welcoming and knowledgeable. The service here is incredible, and the beds are the comfiest in the city. The location is perfect for exploring all the attractions, and the car parking facilities are convenient. The rooms are a good size for overnight stays, with high standard bathrooms. The staff are fantastic, making this our go-to recommendation for friends and customers. Friendly staff, great cocktail bar with fabulous drinks and relaxed atmosphere. Lovely view from the terrace. Good-sized room, huge and comfy bed, quiet for a good night's sleep. Convenient location, minutes from the center and great for starting a walk along the city wall. Easy parking at the nearby racecourse.

The breakfast at Abode was absolutely phenomenal. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, and it was clear that a lot of effort was put into making it a memorable experience. Additionally, the location of the hotel was fantastic, offering stunning views from the bedroom.

We stayed in a hotel that had a great location, with views overlooking the racecourse. The Brasserie in the hotel provided a delicious meal with fantastic service. The rooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms were well-maintained. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including quality coffee. The hotel also took electrical safety seriously, which was reassuring.

One aspect that was lacking was the lack of atmosphere in the hotel bars.

Found nice Easter eggs left on my bed and a cute bunny toy on the desk. the hotel was right in the city centre, allowing me to explore without taking taxis. the rooftop garden had amazing views, and the food was delicious.

Room was not ready until 2 hours after check-in time, staff seemed overwhelmed, and the decor was old-fashioned and unattractive. Unable to sleep as the noise from the hotel bar and rooms around me was unbearable.

We had a great stay at this centrally located hotel, right next to the racecourse. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and a lovely view. The bathroom was generous in size, with quality towels and a good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast offered a fantastic selection of hot and cold options, including vegetarian choices. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, making our check-in and check-out process easy.

The restaurant on-site was not satisfactory, as we were not able to be seated at Michael Caines.

I gotta say, we really got bang for our buck at this hotel. The room was top-notch and super clean, couldn't have asked for better. Plus, the location was ace, right in the heart of everything. The staff treated us like kings and queens, so friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast option could use some improvement, maybe add a wider variety of choices.

The bed and shower were good, and the location was convenient. the champagne bar was a pleasant spot to relax. Checking in and out was easy, and leaving the car in the on-site car park while exploring the city was convenient.

The furniture in the room was slightly damaged and worn out. the curtains needed washing, and the TV was smaller than expected.
