The lodge was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, such as dishes and a hairdryer. Tea, coffee, and fresh milk were also provided. The location was ideal, easily accessible by train, and a short journey to central Glasgow.

The lodge could benefit from having a higher fence in the front for added privacy.
