While our overall stay was fantastic, the only minor hiccup was the limited parking on the hotel grounds.

Just booked as a convenient stopover, but what a lovely spot. Really nice Lakeland village with good pubs and places to eat. Room exceeded our expectations and somewhere we would go back to stay for a weekend or longer. Able to sit outside when we visited in the square. All in all really rather good! Lots of character, central location. Hostess with the mostest, very friendly staff, down to earth, went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at ease, nothing too much trouble. Delicious breakfast and iced lemon water very refreshing.

We had a wonderful stay at Square Bed & Breakfast in Cartmel. the professionalism and warm approach of the staff were exceptional. the owners take pride in their business and engage with customers in a genuine and friendly manner. the rooms and function rooms have been beautifully restored. the prices are fair, considering the prestigious location. our experience was fantastic, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our visit worth every minute!

I recently had an amazing stay at a charming B&B in Cartmel. The host, Rachel, was absolutely fantastic and made sure my friend and I felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The room we stayed in was clean, well-equipped, and the perfect size for our needs. The location of the B&B was also ideal, being close to the racecourse car park. We were beyond thrilled with our choice and highly recommend this lovely establishment. The only drawback was that the bathroom was slightly dated, but it was explained to us that renovations were underway. Nonetheless, it was still clean and fully functional. I highly recommend staying at this wonderful B&B in Cartmel Square.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming bed and breakfast. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the village. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious, especially the granola with gooseberries. We also appreciated the modern bathroom and the friendly and helpful owner. we were impressed with the lovely atmosphere of the hotel and the attention to detail in the rooms.

One minor drawback was the lack of a fan in the room during exceptionally hot weather. But opening the windows provided a cool breeze, so it wasn't a major issue.
