chapel of barras b&b truly feels like home. the owners are so warm and welcoming, treating us like family. their clean and spacious rooms provided the perfect relaxation. breakfast was a delicious treat, locally sourced and homemade. we can't wait to return for another wonderful stay.

During my recent stay in Stonehaven, I had the pleasure of staying at a delightful B&B nestled in the Scottish countryside. The cozy room I was allocated had two beautiful Velux windows, filling the space with natural light. The warm and friendly owner, Michelle, provided a warm and sincere welcome, making me feel right at home. One highlight of this charming B&B was its proximity to Dunnotar Castle and Stonehaven, allowing for easy exploration of these historic sites. Additionally, the breakfast served each morning was nothing short of excellent, providing a delicious start to my day.

Gorgeous farmhouse, warm and spotlessly clean. Enormous bedrooms with comfortable beds. Delicious Scottish breakfast and homemade pancakes. Interesting and lovely hosts. Beautiful part of Scotland, saw wildlife.

We were warmly greeted by the hosts and shown to our spacious and well-equipped room. The homemade breakfast with local sausages and delicious bread was a delightful start to our day. Despite being a bit far from Stonehaven, the hosts offered rides to various places, which was a pleasant surprise.
