Lovely boat, great location, attentive host, well-supplied.

Nothing, all was good.

We had a fantastic week staying on this centrally moored barge near the swing bridge. Communication with the host was excellent, and the cleanliness of the barge was impeccable. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like milk, water, and snacks upon our arrival. the free secure parking in the boat yard opposite was a bonus. the barge was cozy and comfortable for the two of us, with all essential kitchen items available. We loved the beautiful location of Sandwich and enjoyed dining at Giovannis and the Crispin Inn. Archie, the owner, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. the weather was also perfect, thanks to our host!

The owners were friendly and helpful, and the inside of the barge was clean and tidy. the host provided helpful information and was welcoming. the barge had well-equipped kitchen facilities, and I appreciated the tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits left for us. the barge's atmosphere was enjoyable, with beautiful views of the river and tidal changes. its central location allowed for easy access to various restaurants and cafes in the area.

One minor issue was figuring out the lighting, but it was manageable. the kitchen knives could have been sharper.

our recent stay at the barge in sandwich exceeded all expectations. it was a perfect birthday celebration with everything we needed. the warm and cosy atmosphere, central location, and friendly owner made it truly unforgettable. the barge truly stood out among all our previous stays in sandwich.

limited storage space

Great location in the heart of the town. Spacious barge with comfortable beds and all necessary amenities. Friendly and helpful host. Convenient parking at the marina. Fun experience for kids. 👍

La ubicación es excelente, ya que está muy cerca de la estación de tren y a pocos minutos de la playa. Además, está en una zona peatonal y cerca de todo. El personal del hotel fue fantástico, brindándonos todas las facilidades que necesitábamos durante nuestra estancia. Las instalaciones del hotel estaban muy limpias y bien mantenidas, tanto la habitación como el baño. Nos sentimos muy cómodos y dormimos muy bien en la cama. El desayuno incluido era delicioso, con opciones de café o té, bollería o bocadillo y zumo. El bocadillo de jamón ibérico estaba buenisimo.

No me puedo quejar de nada.
