My recent stay at Fernleigh Cottage was delightful. The cottage was spacious with beautiful decorations, making it feel like a true home away from home. The garden had stunning views of the sea, and we enjoyed spending time on the roof terrace soaking up the sun. The Napoleon pub opposite was a convenient spot for drinks and meals. Although there was a walk uphill from the town center, it became easier after a couple of times. Boscastle itself is one of the most picturesque villages in Cornwall, with charming cottages, lovely gardens, and a picturesque river and harbor.

One minor drawback was the lack of blinds in the kitchen, as we were lucky to have the sun shining during breakfast. Additionally, parking near the cottage was a bit of an issue as Upper Boscastle was not built for cars.
