Our stay at the Grosvenor was a pleasant one. The location was convenient, with easy access to the bay and a nearby public car park. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful view. We also appreciated the complimentary bath products and the large television. The breakfast was delicious, especially the breakfast baps and the selection of cold food. Despite a couple of drawbacks, such as the noisy bar below our room on Saturday night and the non-existent water pressure in the shower, we had a great time. I would recommend this hotel for a enjoyable stay in a convenient location.

Breakfast had gluten free options and lactose free milk, but no gluten free sausage. Room was basic but great, and the location was fantastic. Bar food was tasty and great value for money. Would definitely return.

The Grosvenor was a great value for our money, with clean, comfortable rooms and excellent prices for a tourist destination. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially with our kids, and the location was quieter and more affordable than nearby areas.

The breakfast selection could be improved by including local specialties like black pudding and mushrooms on the full English menu.

Had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in Robin Hood's Bay. The staff went above and beyond to help with my heavy suitcase, and their genuine friendliness made me feel well looked after. The food at the hotel was excellent, with delicious breakfasts and dinners. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring the area and accessing public transport. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed and enjoyable stay.

The hotel is located right at the top of the village, which means it's close to the beach. The steep hill offers a unique experience and the next street is right outside someone's house. The family room is spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The breakfast options are delicious and served swiftly, with a great selection of dishes. The staff are pleasant and attentive, making sure your stay is enjoyable.

The parking situation can be a bit inconvenient due to the pay and display system.

This was our first time staying here. We have been coming to the Bay for over 12 years but couldn't get in this time. So decided to try somewhere new. Room smelt beautiful even after a night's sleep. The facilities were perfect. More than we expected for the price. The staff were excellent, they really cared about you and went above and beyond. Very friendly. We had no issues but if we did, I was assured it would be sorted with no problem. Very friendly place to stay with excellent facilities. The live music was fantastic.

Friendly staff, comfortable room with great views, clean and fresh, good breakfast menu with plenty of choice, excellent food in the restaurant.

Food was good, tasty and portions were generous with nice sides of vegetables. Location was also great, close to everything we needed. Rooms were also warm and clean.

The bar area had locals that made us feel uncomfortable due to language used. At breakfast, the plates were cold making the food also cold.

The meals were competitively priced and of very good quality, with good portion sizes. The Monday night home cooked curry and a pint for £8.95 offer was exceptional. Staff were friendly and appeared to be local people. The hotel is ideally located just above the village on the main bus and walking routes. The bed was very comfortable and the room, although classified as 'small double', had plenty of space and was spotless. The bathroom had lovely toiletries and plenty of hot water. The restaurant food was superb with generous portions. Breakfast offered a good choice of options. The position in the village was great, with proximity to the carpark and local amenities. The room was nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially to families with young kids.

The staff are friendly and provide great service. The basic amenities in the room, including a bath and shower with complementary toiletries, were a pleasant surprise. The room itself had a double and single bed, as well as large pieces of furniture all in mismatched pine, giving it a unique charm. The breakfast area also had a lovely view, making it a perfect start to the day.

It's close to Robin Hood Bay and about 12 minutes from Whitby, making it convenient for a variety of day trips. Additionally, the recently decorated rooms are well-appointed and offer basic amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.
