I recently stayed at a charming countryside inn called The Haymaker and had a lovely experience. The location was perfect, being within an hour's drive of various attractions. The highlight was definitely the food - it was absolutely brilliant, with a wide selection and generous portions, all at excellent value for money. What made it even better was that I was able to bring my two dogs along, and they were warmly welcomed. The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to dine in the bar area where dogs are allowed. I will definitely be returning to The Haymaker for another great stay.

We were warmly welcomed at the Haymaker Inn and the staff were extremely helpful with our luggage. the room was nice and clean, as was the spacious bathroom. the food was delicious and we were impressed with how accommodating they were to our vegan and food allergy needs. the local people were also friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience. the owner of the inn was very friendly and provided excellent service. We also appreciated the thoughtful details in the room's furnishings. the location was convenient, being in a quiet rural village but still close to main roads for easy transportation.

there was a miscommunication regarding the price of the vegan meal, which resulted in an unexpected higher bill. It would be helpful if agreements made over the phone were passed on to the staff to avoid such issues.
