Delicious breakfast every morning set the tone for the day. the tea, coffee, and hot chocolate options - with little snacks as a bonus- made the stay even more comfortable. the location was perfect; situated conveniently in town and accessible to ferry terminals. the spacious and comfortable rooms were clean and well-maintained. A great experience that I highly recommend to everyone!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful B&B in Kirkwall called Heatherlea. From the moment I arrived, Debbie, the exceptional host, made me feel welcome with her warm and friendly nature. the room I stayed in, number 206, was absolutely amazing. It was spacious, cosy, and had all the necessary appliances and amenities one could need. the attention to detail was impressive, with even a first aid kit provided. the breakfasts were a highlight, deliciously cooked to order and tailored to each guest. the variety of snacks, teas, and ground coffee in the room added an extra touch of luxury. the comfortable bed and great view from the window sealed the deal for me. This B&B truly deserves more than a perfect 10 rating.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations! the location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the town centre. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and provided exceptional service throughout my stay. The rooms were well-appointed with all the amenities needed, along with thoughtful extras like a hidden drawer of treats. Lastly, the breakfast was a true highlight, with top quality mixed berries and all genuine products sourced locally from the Orkney.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with multiple choices. The hotel is located close to the town center and the harbour front, making it convenient for exploring the city and catching the ferry to the outer islands.

I recently stayed at a B&B in Orkney for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was ideal, as it was close to the town center and just a short walk to the ferry terminal for the outer islands. The room was comfortable and had modern amenities, including a USB port and a large flat screen TV. The ensuite bathroom was spacious and had a luxurious shower head. The service provided by the proprietors was exceptional, and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a variety of hot options and special diet options available. it was a truly enjoyable stay.

The only small drawback was the lack of a bar fridge in the room.
