We recently stayed at a hotel in Matlock and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was also ideal, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding area. Moreover, the hotel had the added advantage of being accessible at all times, allowing us to come and go without any interruptions. we would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

I have to say, High Tor exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The room was not only spacious but also exceptionally clean, with an amazing shower. The location was ideal for exploring both Matlock and Matlock Bath, and the staff were friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. I especially appreciated their warm welcome and how well they treated my daughter, who is 11.

The breakfast options were limited but tasty, and the hotel offered a continental breakfast as well as a full English for an additional cost. The hotel's proximity to the city centre made it convenient for exploring the local area.

That the WiFi signal in the rooms was weak, but the comfortable sofas in the landing area provided a great spot for connecting to the internet.

The room was clean and comfortable, with large and fluffy towels. Despite a few minor issues, like a small TV and the shower door being a bit difficult to use, the overall experience was great. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a good atmosphere throughout the hotel. The location was also convenient, with the river nearby and a pleasant walk to the Heights of Abraham.
