kingswood hotel in sidmouth was a pleasant surprise! from the friendly staff to the spacious room with a great sea view, it exceeded my previous experience. the freshly cooked breakfast was delicious, and the overall value for money was excellent. highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Kingswood! The hotel is perfectly situated right on the seafront, with convenient parking nearby. The property is well-maintained, both inside and out, and has a clean and modern appearance. The food, while not outstanding, was still enjoyable for both breakfast and dinner. The staff at the hotel were polite and friendly, always ready to assist us with any needs we had during our stay.

The room setup for our family was perfect - 2 rooms, 1 with two beds for the kids and a little kitchenette with fridge and sink handy for storing snacks and refilling drinks. The decor was fresh and tasteful - our room was nicely painted and the bathroom modern and clean. Location is ideal - across the road from the beach and round the corner from the play area. Plenty of places to eat and little shops for browsing. Breakfast each morning consisted of a great choice and very tasty food enjoyed by all of us. Car parking was arranged when we booked, which I'd recommend.

We did find the bar/lounge area a little too quiet for our liking. It would have been nice to have some background music or a TV to create a more vibrant atmosphere.

The hotel's cleanliness was impressive, and the public areas were tastefully decorated. The location was great, with shops and the beach right on the doorstep. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had plenty of choice. attention to detail was excellent.

The lifts were tiny and not suitable for anyone who dislikes loud noises or suffers from claustrophobia.

The Kingswood Hotel is a lovely place to stay. We felt very welcome and comfortable thanks to the fantastic lady at reception. She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even offering to bring us a mug of coffee. the location is excellent, situated on the esplanade with a direct sea view. the staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. It's the perfect place for a relaxing break in a gentry resort.
