I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at Lairds House. The room was clean and uniquely decorated, with a lovely patio area. The central location allowed for easy access to both Newcastle Upon Tyne and the Northumberland countryside. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay.

The hotel breakfast menu could be improved with better quality produce, such as sausages from a good butcher and fresh bread instead of sliced cheap bread.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our trip from Scotland to London. The room we had was beautifully decorated with a roll top bath and a separate shower room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast served at the hotel was excellent. the hotel had a giant TV in the room, which was an unexpected bonus.

It would have been nice to have a residents lounge for a more comfortable stay.

We had a great experience staying at Lairds House in Bedlington. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The full English breakfast, both the regular and the vegetarian version, were both excellent. We also appreciated the convenience of having two supermarkets nearby with free parking. it was a good place to stay and use as a base for exploring the area. We would definitely recommend and consider returning.

I recently stayed at Lairds House for a work trip and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The evening meal and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and the staff were fantastic. Parking was easy and there were plenty of local shops nearby. I will definitely be visiting again.

The staff were incredibly helpful and personable, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location was convenient, with several independent shops nearby and a couple of beautiful beaches within a short drive.

The hotel could benefit from better signage, as it was a bit difficult to find at first. There were also a few areas that were untidy and could be better maintained.

Despite having one of the smaller rooms, it was beautifully decorated with a classical feel and had a comfortable bed. The high level toilet cistern and rainfall shower added a nice touch. The service was top-notch, with all staff taking the time to chat and make us feel at home. We also appreciated the safe location provided for storing our bicycles.
