We stayed at Lime Tree An Ealdhain for a weekend getaway. The evening meal was delicious, with a great choice of wine to accompany it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even though they sometimes used colloquial language. The building itself is magnificent, with stunning views of the loch. The location is excellent, just a short walk away from the high street and train station. The self-catering facilities were convenient, with a dishwasher, microwave, and basic condiments provided. The owners were welcoming, and parking right outside the mews was convenient.

The room and ensuite were fantastic, and we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing restaurant. The dinner was lovely, and the included breakfast was great too.

I absolutely loved my stay at the charming hotel in the breathtaking location. The room I had, number 4, offered a stunning view of the Loch, Hills, and mountains beyond. The layout of the hotel was delightfully quirky and the Art Gallery on-site was incredibly interesting. The bed was supremely comfortable, one of the best hotel beds I have ever slept in. The staff members were all helpful, polite, and pleasant, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location of the hotel was perfect, situated at one end of the High Street with easy access to various shops, including a great bakers and a craft ale bar. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The only downsides were the lack of windows that open in the bedrooms of the cottage, which made it slightly claustrophobic at night, and the slight stale smell in that area. Additionally, there was a minor issue with the breakfast on the second day, where some of the items were not up to par.

We stayed in the Mews cottage at the back of the hotel for 3 nights after completing the WHW. It had 2 bedrooms with TVs, a downstairs toilet shower room, and an upstairs sitting area with a small kitchen and dining table. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The location was perfect, with a short stroll to the town center and great for exploring the surrounding area. We loved the decor, especially the two sitting rooms at the front of the house.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! the location was perfect, with stunning views and easy access to local attractions. We loved the cozy lounges and the open fires, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

There were signs of wear and tear, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Despite these small drawbacks, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the overall experience.

Located just off the loch and close to Fort William town centre, this hotel offers a convenient base for exploring the stunning Ben Nevis mountains. The restaurant is a highlight, with log-fired front rooms to warm up in before enjoying the fantastic, fresh food. The staff are pleasant and the ambience is perfect after a long day outdoors. The comfortable and clean rooms, though slightly lacking in practicality, provide a comfortable stay. Additionally, the art gallery adds an interesting touch to the hotel's unique combination of art and accommodation.

Noise from machinery/engine near the hotel can be a disturbance during late nights and early mornings.
