Stayed at Anchorage for one night on 17th July for my partner's birthday. Fantastic staff, perfect location to beach and nearby attractions. Comfortable bed, clean room with nice decor. Shower had good water pressure. The chef was friendly and breakfast delicious. We loved the food and can't wait to come back soon!

During my recent stay at a hotel in Poole, I had a wonderful time. The staff members were always friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. The highlight of my stay was the restaurant, where the food was absolutely excellent. Every meal was outstanding, with a wide variety of options to choose from on the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. Additionally, the location of the hotel was convenient, with a short walk to the seafront and stunning views. The rooms, although slightly small, were clean and comfortable. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the need for room updates and some noise from the outside road, my overall experience at the hotel was fantastic. I highly recommend this establishment to others looking for a pleasant and enjoyable stay in Poole.

the restaurant food was delicious and the breakfast options were also excellent. the staff were attentive and friendly, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. the location of the hotel was ideal and the staff were accommodating and always willing to assist with any needs or requests. I especially appreciated that pets were not allowed in the rooms, as I have allergies.

The hotel's location was perfect for me, as it was just a short walk away from the main beach. Additionally, the breakfast at this hotel was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I particularly loved the avocado on soda bread with bacon and the banana and blueberry pancakes with maple syrup - truly a treat for my taste buds.

Noisy room over the kitchen at night.

the property is modern and the room had great facilities. Everything was clean and well-maintained. the staff were brilliant - attentive, kind, and always ready to assist. the location was perfect, within walking distance to the beach and other attractions, such as Compton Acres. the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had good water pressure in the shower. the food was also delicious.

The location is perfect for beach lovers, with easy access to beautiful sandy beaches like Canford Cliffs. The rooms are well-equipped and clean, with comfortable beds and tea/coffee making facilities. The staff are friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast options are varied and delicious. The view from some rooms is delightful, offering a pleasant backdrop during the stay.

The room size may be a bit compact, especially for couples who prefer more space to move around.

Stayed at the Anchorage in a nice room for 4 nights. the staff, especially David, were very friendly and accommodating. the food at the restaurant was great for both breakfast and dinner. the location was convenient with a bus stop right outside, offering easy access to Bournemouth, Sandbanks, Swanage, and Poole. Compton Acre garden was also just a short walk away.

Limited parking, but manageable unless arriving during the evening. 🅂

Had a fantastic New Year stay! the hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the rooms were modern and clean with all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. the food was a real highlight, especially the freshly prepared cooked breakfasts, and we were pleasantly surprised by the great value for money.

the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, resulting in a sore neck. the cleaning staff were very loud early in the morning, making it difficult to sleep in.

We really got great value for our money at The Anchorage. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. The hotel's location was perfect, just where we wanted to be. The staff treated us with so much warmth and kindness.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast selection better was a bit more variety.

Although the hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services, there was a slight drawback. The room I stayed in was quite luxurious and comfortable, but it overlooked a busy roundabout, preventing me from opening the window at night due to the noise.
