I was delighted with my stay at Mabie House. the cozy, wood-paneled room with a fire was perfect after a day of mountain biking. the delicious food and comfortable bed made my visit truly memorable. highly recommended.

staying at mabie house was a delightful experience. the grounds were well maintained, and our room was clean, spacious enough for our dog's crate. we enjoyed a vegan-friendly meal in the lobby area with our furry friend by our side, courtesy of the accommodating staff. plenty of nearby walks/rides to explore right from the hotel. a peaceful and relaxing location with friendly and helpful staff. excellent quality and value in both the restaurant and at breakfast - compliments to the chef!

The kids had a fantastic time exploring the beautiful grounds and enjoying the various activities organized just for them. the staff went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and ensure we had a memorable experience.

For dads, it would be great to have more children-friendly options on the evening bar menu.

Being close to landmarks like the Robert Burns Mausoleum and Mabie Forest added an extra layer of charm to our family bonding experience.

As young holiday goers, we loved the incredible location for mountain biking, right at the trailhead of Mabie Forest 7 stanes. The breakfast was excellent, and the evening meal was fantastic with a great menu and lovely food. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the views from the hotel were gorgeous.

The Mabie Forest is a dream for nature lovers, with plenty of walking trails and biking routes. The hotel has a cozy atmosphere with well-stocked bars and a lovely log fire. The beautiful decor of the Garden Pavilion provides a perfect backdrop.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel nestled in a beautiful garden, offering a tranquil location for a low-budget traveler. The room was huge, comfortable, and had a well-appointed bathroom. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel even accommodated dietary requirements. the hotel is dog-friendly and offers scenic walking and cycling paths in the nearby forest.

There was no walk-in shower or safety handle in the bathroom, which could be inconvenient for those with mobility issues.

Our romantic escape at this hotel was great. the location was perfect, situated close to the mountains and forests, with wonderful views of the countryside. the room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities. the food was delicious, and we enjoyed trying some of the locally sourced ingredients. We particularly enjoyed the romantic dinner for two, which included a bottle of sparkling wine and a dessert.

We did find the staff to be a bit disorganized at times, and there were a few occasions where we had to wait longer than expected for service. some of the amenities in the hotel were a bit outdated and in need of an update.
