Another enjoyable experience yet again. The owners and staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making our second visit just as memorable as the first. Norham is a charming village with its beautiful castle and river. The bar at the Mason's was cozy and filled with traditional charm. And let's not forget the fabulous breakfast! All the rooms were sparkling clean and had en-suite facilities. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay.

We had a lovely romantic escape in a peaceful village by the river. the food in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced, and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. the refurbished dining room was a great place to enjoy our meals.

There was a bit of confusion regarding the breakfast arrangements, as we were not allowed to eat in the bar and had to leave our dog in the car. the noise from the room above the public bar was quite disruptive, with rattling windows and thin walls that allowed us to hear everything from neighboring guests.

The location of the inn was ideal, very close to the river which provided a truly relaxing atmosphere. It was also within walking distance to the castle, making it a great spot for sightseeing. The pub itself had a friendly atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to hang out.

The thin walls in the rooms were a bit of a downside, as it allowed for noise from neighboring rooms to be heard.

I stayed at The Masons Arms in Norham for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were great, especially for vegetarians. The hotel offered excellent value for money and I would definitely book another stay here. The location in the center of the village made it convenient for exploring.
