The noise pollution from both the street and the pub can be a major drawback. With loud traffic passing by and rowdy individuals lingering outside the window in the early hours, a peaceful night's sleep can be hard to come by.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We loved the fact that there was a tea and coffee kettle in the room, perfect for a morning cuppa. the location was great, with a takeaway restaurant just across the street and lots of local attractions easily accessible.

The noise level, especially if your room faced the street. We could hear every car that passed by and every scream from the drunk teenagers on Saturday nights.

Just had an amazing stay at Mcnaughton Guestrooms! The accommodation was beautiful and modern, with a quiet public reading space and lovely touches like mints on the pillows. The rooms were spacious and luxurious, offering a five-star experience at reasonable prices. The hotel is located in a charming village with friendly locals, and the nearby Cafe Nova serves a delicious breakfast. The staff at The Lurig Inn pub were also very hospitable. Can't wait for my next stay!

For us, it was ideal.

Stayed in a room with a unique skylight view, felt like being in a submarine! Breakfast was an adventure, had to hop to a nearby cafe for a limited cooked breakfast.

Who needs sleep when you can enjoy live music from the pub below until late, followed by a delightful barrel change at 4.45am? Pure bliss!

This hotel offered great value for money with its clean, comfortable, and modern rooms. The staff, although not seen in person, were friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, right in the town center and within walking distance to the beach. The basic amenities provided in the rooms, such as a tea/coffee kettle, were a nice touch. Additionally, breakfast was included and provided for early risers.

No improvements needed, everything was satisfactory.
