I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were great. The location was very convenient, being very close to the center of the city and with parking facilities available. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The carbon monoxide detector in one of the rooms flashes all night, which can be bothersome for light sleepers.

I recently stayed at Merriland in Broadstairs for a couple of nights and had a fantastic experience. The friendly host, Annette, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. She left lovely treats in the room and even exchanged mobile numbers to ensure a smooth check-in. The location was excellent, with a quiet residential street just a short walk away from the beach and high street. The apartment itself was beautifully presented and had a spacious conservatory as a bonus. Annette's hospitality and thoughtful touches, such as providing milk, juice, and a goodie basket, made a real difference. it was a great stay.

I couldn't be happier with the value for money at this place. The room was beyond excellent - spacious, well-equipped with a lounge and a kitchen, and a comfortable bedroom with an en suite bathroom. The location was just perfect, a mere few minutes' walk to the sea, bars, and restaurants, but still on the edge of town for a quieter stay. The host treated us with genuine kindness and friendliness.

The breakfast selection could use some improvement, perhaps offering a wider variety of choices.

The TV had limited channels, but this was easily resolved by bringing an HDMI cable to connect with a laptop for entertainment.
