Our stay was in a decent location, making it easy to travel to town. The room was not big, but it served us fine. The room had a modern design, and the breakfast was decent. Additionally, we enjoyed the hotel bar and pool facilities near the cathedral.

The sound of traffic coming in through the window made it hard to sleep.

The temperature in the room was uncomfortably warm and the heating couldn't be adjusted. the windows only opened slightly, which didn't help much.

I recently stayed at the Mill Hotel in Chester for a short break. The staff were well trained and efficient, especially Jayne at check-in, who was incredibly helpful and genuinely interested in us. The room, though small, was warm and cozy, with thick and fluffy towels. The hotel had plenty of facilities, including a surprisingly spacious real ale bar. It is conveniently located within walking distance from the train station. I had a pleasant and comfortable stay.

The breakfast was efficiently served, with a good variety of options including fresh fruit. I also liked that it was served on piping hot plates, a small but thoughtful touch.

The hotel is situated right by a busy dual carriageway, so there was quite a lot of traffic noise if you opened the window for some fresh air.

The rooms were outdated, dirty, and not worth the price we paid. the TV and steam in the rooms were not working properly and the lift was extremely filthy.

I stayed at the Mill Hotel & Spa for three nights and booked three rooms in total. The twin room we had was surprisingly spacious and even better than the double room. The reception staff were exceptional and the gentleman who showed us to our breakfast table each morning provided excellent service. The breakfast itself was delicious and satisfying. The hotel offered free parking, which was a great bonus. The room had a lovely view of the canal and the hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the city center and the walls. The pool, sauna, and other amenities were very relaxing. I had a great experience and will definitely return.
